Hi Dave, I thought it would be nice to not only email when I have a problem but to also take a minute and let you know how much I am enjoying your computer and all the effort you put into it... you were right, this is one that we were intended to have. It works great and is a center of attention every time someone visits us and sees it! Were getting ready to leave FL at the end of April and head back to CO for the summer...it's been fun to enjoy our first winter down here. Hope your business is going good and is growing. <p>We received the computer yesterday at the post office and got it set up tonight. It is great! I love the big flat panel screen and the speed on the internet is impressive. I don't have the speakers set up yet, but everything else is working good. I love the wireless keyboard and mouse. It is nice to know you have a support site as well. CONGRAGULATIONS on such a successful heart transplant into my old Dell. Holy cow this thing is powerful!!!! I decided to download some very large trading histories for 2800 Nasdaq stocks this morning just to compare apples to apples ---- what used to take 1215 minutes now takes just under 75 minutes --- about 16 times faster. And most of the processing is the intesnsive kind, aka: massive indexing and offsets. Then just to see what size of Excel file it could handle .... I merged three huge Excel worksheets into one mega huge workbook. Complete with 200 DDE's etc. The result was a 270mb excel spreadsheet that recalculates like it was grazing in the park!!! I am immmmmmpressed. Seems like sometimes people don't have enough time to say thanks and show a little enthusiasm about it, see- I just wanted to make sure you heard from one very happy Sin City PC customer. I hadn't heard of your store before this recent coverage, but I'm extremely happy to see that your business stood out amongst the competition - hands down! My family frequently has computer repair needs and we've never trusted any stores for the exact same reason KVBC felt the story needed to be covered.
Thank you for being honest, ethical and truthful. I know they're all generally the same thing, but I cannot express enough gratitude to your company for being honest.
Also, while in the past I would have avoided your business based on its name after our city's nickname (it seems so cliche'), but you've proven me wrong by your choice to run a business that has a positive influence on our community. Thank you again for setting a positive example for other businesses in this sinful town to follow. I know you don't want to change your business name, but I thought something along the lines of "Ethical PC Repair".

P.S. I am a graphic design student who primarily uses a Mac, but my family uses PC's still and think I know how to resolve every computer issue that arises. I wish they could call your business whenever they need service, but they usually need the repairs to be done at their residence. I look forward to your business offering competitive rates and services for service calls such as the ones they need. I would feel more comfortable with them receiving service from your company than from anyone else here in town. Thanks and God bless you all. |
